Simple Present

The Simple present is represented in 3 forms:

  • Positive: Ex: My dog has spots
  • Negative: Ex: My dog haven't spots
  • Interrogative: Ex: Has my dog spots?
You can use it in very diferents situations:
  • Daily routine: Ex: My cat is very selfish.
Now, Simple Present VS Present Continious:
  • The present continious is used when we are talking about the present: 
  Ex: I'm playing basketball NOW.
  • In the Simple Present, we put the letter "S" from "IS" in the following verb.(alone in the 3th person sentences):
          Ex: He puts the flowerpot in the flat roof.
